Here are some photos of a vinyl deck renovation we did this summer! This one took a lot of extra sweat! The existing finished surface for this deck was 2-3 inches of concrete with wire mesh on top of plywood, the concrete surface was cracked and there was water leaking though the deck and into the house. We jack hammered and removed the concrete, stripped all the plywood, and did a lot of re-framing to ensure proper slope for water drainage. We then installed new vinyl and custom fabricated aluminum railings, along with a new set of stairs using our favourite composite decking.

Hello everyone,

KB Contracting is excited to announce that we will now be offering our services in the beautiful Cariboo region of BC! Starting this May/June, I will be personally relocating to the 100 Mile area with my partner and our animals. I’d love help spreading the word, and I’d really appreciate it if you could share this post and keep us in mind for any future projects in the area.

I offer full-scale home renovations, deck renovations, custom carpentry, home additions, concrete work, and have experience working with high-end vacation homes. We’re also proud to announce that we will be offering new home builds starting this spring, and we’re excited to provide even more services to our customers.

KB Contracting will continue to operate as usual in the Lower Mainland as well. I truly appreciate everyone’s support and business over the past five years. My business wouldn’t be where it is today without each and every one of you. To celebrate our expansion and show our appreciation, we’ll be hosting a giveaway soon—stay tuned for details!
