Plans can change during construction, and the right process makes all the difference.

At our Flip City project, the client requested a three-inch increase to the wall height after framing was already complete. We coordinated with the architect and engineer, documented the change through a formal change order, received written approval, and completed the adjustment with minimal impact on the schedule.

This same organized approach applies to commercial projects, home renovations, and custom homes. At Sayers Contracting, we help clients adapt their plans while keeping the scope, budget, and construction process clear.

The Flip City Gymnastics project in Pitt Meadows is moving forward.

Since our last update, the platform walls have been fully framed, and the team is now installing the shear wall plywood in preparation for joisting next week. Step by step, this 5,500 sq. ft. raised platform is taking shape and getting closer to becoming a safe training space for the gymnasts.

Sayers Contracting provides commercial construction, framing, renovations, and custom building services throughout Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Langley, Surrey, Abbotsford, and the Fraser Valley.

A new project is underway at Flip City Gymnastics in Pitt Meadows.

Sayers Contracting is building an approximately 5,500 sq. ft. raised platform that will support new foam pits, giving gymnasts a safer space to practise aerials and new skills. Because the facility is located in the Pitt Meadows floodplain, the structure must be built above the existing slab rather than excavated below it.

The framing is taking shape, with joists and plywood installation coming next.
