For Yousif, growth at Hall has meant being willing to take on more.

After completing his co-op with Hall in 2024, Yousif returned as a Project Coordinator in Excavation & Shoring. Over the past year, he’s taken on new challenges and started getting a closer look at what it takes to step into Project Management.

One lesson he’s learned along the way: the best way for a PM to help a PC grow is to trust them with more responsibility and push them outside their comfort zone.

Staying organized has also become part of the job. His system is simple—one notebook, separate pages for each project, and a running list of tasks and priorities.

Outside of work, Yousif stays active on the soccer pitch, basketball court and at the gym, while making time to explore new restaurants with friends and family.

And his long-term goal? Visiting every continent and experiencing as many different cultures and places as possible.

BC Day is an opportunity to recognize the people, places, and communities that make this province home.

From the roads and bridges that connect us to the water, utilities, and infrastructure communities rely on every day, we're proud to play a small part in helping build and maintain the places where people live, work, and grow.

Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable BC Day long weekend.

This Substation project is a great example of what strong planning, collaboration, and ex*****on can achieve.

From underground infrastructure to site restoration, the team's commitment to quality, teamwork, and safety has been evident throughout every stage of the project. Most importantly, the project was delivered with zero safety incidents — an achievement everyone involved can be proud of.

Great work to the entire team for another successful project.

A well-earned step forward in Ryan Pepper’s career with Hall.

Ryan started with Hall in 2017 as a pipelayer and progressed into a Senior Pipelayer role through consistent hard work and reliability in the field. In 2024, he moved into a Lead Hand position, where he continued to build his leadership and support his crew through day-to-day delivery on a range of civil work.

That steady progression and willingness to take on more responsibility has led to his promotion to Civil Foreman.

Congratulations, Ryan, on this next chapter in your career.
