CMR is looking for a Project Superintendent of Commercial & Multi-family Roofing and Waterproofing in the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland
Coast Mountain Roof Ltd.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
• Overseeing 5-8 active commercial, multi-family and service based roofing projects
• Managing crews, subcontractors, and daily site operations
• Ensuring projects are watertight, safe, and on schedule every day
• Verifying materials, manpower, and equipment are ready before work starts
• Owning safety, documentation, and compliance
• Coordinating with Project Coordinators, suppliers, and consultants
• Identifying and solving problems early avoiding escalation
• Protecting profitability, timelines, and client relationships

What “Success” Looks Like:
• No leaks. No chaos. No excuses.
• Crews show up prepared because you made sure they were
• Projects stay organized, clean, and controlled
• Issues are handled before they impact the client
• You think like an owner, not an employee

Requirements:
• 5+ years experience in commercial, multi-family roofing supervision
• Strong knowledge of all roofing and wall assemblies and systems (SBS, PMMA, Waterproofing, TPO, ASM, Asphalt shingles, BUR, Envelope/Wall basics, EPDM, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of safety and site documentation
• Highly organized, proactive, and accountable
• Clear, direct communication style

Compensation:
• Base Salary: $105,000 per year
• Performance Incentive: Up to $55,000 annually

* Benefits day 1
* $3000 gross kicker at 90 probation completion

Bonus is tied to what actually matters:
• Project profitability (hitting or exceeding margin targets)
• Job ex*****on (on time, on budget, no preventable failures)
• Site performance (safety, organization, documentation)
• Client satisfaction and repeat work

✅ Total earning potential: $160,000+ for top performers

So this happened on a recent roof inspection! We popped open a blister expecting a quick fix and discovered a whole lake lurking beneath the torch-on, patiently collected over years on top of an old tar and gravel roof. At that point, it became clear this isn't a fix it's definitely going to have to be a re-roof.

Our mission quickly shifted
Become temporary water wranglers
Pump out the unexpected indoor lake
Clear drains and strategic membrane cuts to release the flow (it was a lot of water!)
We Return a couple of days later to seal everything up.

Roof Maintenance Done Right — The Safe Way

Shoutout to Jennel and Troy for working hard and staying safe on a detailed roofing maintenance project for Coast Mountain Roof.

This project included:

Removing organic debris from flat roof surfaces and all drains

Ensuring all roof-level drains are clear

Clearing debris from sloped roof surfaces, gutters, behind chimneys, and wall dead valleys

Removing loose moss from sloped roofs

Applying 30 Second moss killer and deterrent

Applying Alsan flashing 4" up the base of all galvanized roof hardware

Replacing vent stack storm collar sealant with high-temp sealant

Cleaning up and removing all maintenance-related debris from the site

Proud of the care, precision, and safety these two brought to the job. Nice work, team!
