The Quorum Group mourns the loss of a true legend, Doug Jacobson.

Doug was one of Quorum’s original employees, beginning his journey in the industry at just 16 years old with Bosa Brothers Construction. A visionary and mastermind, Doug played a pivotal role in the early development of Whistler, including the creation of Whistler Town Centre and later leading the construction of Whistler North Village. His leadership and dedication were instrumental in shaping Whistler into one of the world’s premier resort destinations.

Go in peace, dear friend. There are many waiting to welcome you with open arms.

The Quorum Group would to honour and take a moment of silence of a long-time Quorum veteran, Jose Martinez. The Quorum Family has lost an original, hard working El Salvadoran who carved the path for so many hard working El Salvadorans who settled and called Canada home.⁣
⁣
Jose was a generous, hard working family man worked endless hours without looking for any gratitude.⁣
⁣
Jose worked for Quorum in the early days. From Whistler to Calgary, he started as a labourer and soon became a foreman. ⁣
⁣
We send our thoughts and prayers to Jose's family during this difficult time and ask all Quorum employees to have a moment in silence in memory of Jose.⁣
