Dayspring Painting and Drywall is a family owned and operated company serving southern Alberta.

We are looking for a self motivated and willing -to-learn drywaller/ taper to join our team. Experience is an asset, but we will train the right person.

Job duties and responsibilities:

- Get a ‘workout’ by loading supplies from shop to vehicle, then vehicle to job site - multiple times a day.
- Inspect and shake your head at work area, then send photos so we can fix it right the first time.
- Preparing and protecting floor and content, no one likes to clean a messy job site.
- Drywall/tape small to large jobs, sometimes by yourself (but four hands are better then two which is why we need you!)
- Taping, mudding and sanding jobs. Prepare to get dusty and dirty.
- Keep track, daily, of materials used on each job site, or, be prepared to be asked a month down the road when you can’t always remember!
- Do it right the first time or ask, because fixing a mistake is more work.
- Working with others can be fun, but just like a family we all have good and bad days.
- Communicating regularly on job progress with other team members is essential so we can provide awesome and amazing service to all our customers.

• Drywall or taping experience?
• Construction knowledge?
• Painting skills?
• Self motivated and willing to learn?
• Physically fit and able to lift repetitively(10-70 lbs)?
• Honest and dependable?
• Driver’s license?
• Own vehicle?
• Bondable?
• Cell phone?
• Not afraid of heights!?!
Full time employment Monday to Friday and competitive wage. Holidays off.
