That means the end of cistern cleaning season is approaching! At this point in the year we keep a close eye on the weather and as of now, it looks like next week might be our last good week of warm days!

Service highlight part 2:

Septic Pumping & Inspections 💩 🚽

With over 40 years of servicing septic tanks in Southern Alberta, we’ve seen it all! There are many different styles of tanks and septic systems & we pride ourselves on being knowledgeable with not only the systems but the properties as well.

A question we’re frequently asked is: “How often am I suppose to get my tank pumped out?” Our answer: “It depends!” Depends on the size of tank, how the tank is operating, the number of people in the residence and how the bacteria is behaving in the tank (yes, your tank has living bacteria in it!) We usually recommend every 2-3 years for your standard tank, operating optimally on a two adult/ two children residence. But that timeline decreases with more people in the house and increases with less people in the house. P

Late summer / Fall is a great time of year to pump your septic tank out before the cold weather comes to avoid any issues the freezing temperatures may cause!

Septic Inspections are always recommended before you purchase a property that has a septic system to ensure everything is operating as it should and provides great insight to purchasers if they have never seen a septic system before.
Written reports & verbal inspections are the two options for inspections that we offer.

Service highlight part 1:

Cistern Cleaning 🧼

Although not a new service, we did add a new truck to our fleet to make cistern cleaning easier!
We can now bring 2000 gallons of water to refill your cistern after we clean it - without having to bring out another truck!

Not typically common knowledge but did you know Alberta Health Services recommends cleaning your potable water cistern annually, even if your water comes from a water co-op?! Your drinking water is only as clean as the vessel you put it in!!

This summer has been our busiest summer yet for cistern cleans so book in before it’s too late!

To minimize contact we will be emailing your bill instead of providing a paper invoice. We would like to be paid by Etransfer or credit card. Please provide us your email if we do not already have it by emailing us at [email protected].

We are getting lots of extra orders at this time so please monitor your cistern water level and septic system, and get your orders in early. To practice social distancing we do not need to interact with you face to face when we arrive if we get clear instructions when you book your water, septic cleaning and/or cistern cleaning.
