What a difference a new fabric can make! 😍

This chair came to us sporting a fairly traditional gold floral fabric. The chair itself was still a great piece, but it was ready for an updated look!

We reupholstered it in Charlotte Fabrics CB700-388, a beautiful cream-coloured fabric with a subtle paisley pattern. It's a 100% polyester upholstery fabric rated for over 80,000 double rubs, so it's a great option for furniture that gets regular use.

We love how the new fabric brightens up the chair while still keeping some of that traditional character. And with the matching ottoman, it's a pretty inviting place to put your feet up!

One of our favourite things about reupholstery is seeing just how much a piece can change without having to replace it. Sometimes all it needs is the right fabric!

From dated gold florals and a traditional skirted base to a fresh, bright, modern design! 🛋️

For this transformation, we chose Charlotte Fabrics CB700-358, a beautiful cream-toned fabric featuring an elegant, subtle botanical pattern. 🌿

But this fabric offers more than just good looks!

75% cotton, 25% polyester – A blend of natural and synthetic fibres.

Heavy-duty durability – Tested to exceed an impressive 108,000 double rubs, making it an excellent choice for furniture that gets plenty of everyday use.

Timeless design – The soft, neutral tones and delicate pattern bring texture and character without overwhelming the room.

We also removed the sofa's original skirt, exposing the legs and giving the entire piece a cleaner, more contemporary appearance.

✨ A Fresh Look with Extra Support! ✨

These beautiful bar stools came into our shop for a refresh, but our customer wanted more than just a new look. They were also looking for a little extra comfort and support!

🪑 The Comfort Upgrade: We replaced the original 1-inch seat foam with 2-inch firm Duron foam, doubling the thickness for a more supportive seat. Duron is a highly resilient foam designed to retain its shape and support through years of use, and it's backed by a 5-year warranty!

🧵 The Fabric: We reupholstered both stools in V901 Bone from Charlotte Fabrics' Leather Looks collection. This beautiful fabric offers the sophisticated, textured appearance of distressed leather with impressive performance to match. It's stain-resistant, easy to clean with mild soap and water, and rated for over 100,000 Wyzenbeek double rubs, making it an excellent choice for furniture that sees regular use.

A fresh top can completely transform a classic convertible.

We recently replaced the convertible top on this 1986 Dodge 600, giving it a clean new look while keeping the original character of the car intact. The old top had definitely seen better days, so this was a satisfying upgrade—and a big improvement in both appearance and weather protection.

Convertible tops require careful fitting, alignment, tensioning, and finishing to make sure everything sits properly around the windows, bows, and body of the car. We’re really happy with how this one turned out.

A complete rebuild from the inside out. ✨

This chair came to us in brown velvet, but underneath was a beautiful frame with plenty of life left in it. Rather than simply recovering it, we gave it the full treatment:

We stripped the chair down, refinished the exposed wooden arms, and replaced virtually everything inside — including new foam, webbing, and decking.

We reupholstered the chair in D4410 Eve Oyster from Charlotte Fabrics. Eve is part of Charlotte's Vintage Damask collection, a group of traditional patterns designed with a refined sheen. D4410 is a 100% polyester, fade-resistant upholstery fabric rated at more than 70,000 Wyzenbeek double rubs, giving this elegant floral pattern heavy-duty durability as well as a classic look.

The soft oyster, beige and taupe tones work beautifully with the newly refinished wood and completely transform the character of the chair. What started as a dark, dated piece now feels bright, elegant, and ready for its next chapter.

This chair came to us looking one spring-cleaning away from ending up in a landfill.

We reupholstered it in F100-150 from Charlotte Fabrics’ Cypress collection, keeping the chair’s classic silhouette while giving it a rich, updated deep-green finish.

And this fabric isn’t just about looks. F100-150 is a heavy-duty performance upholstery fabric rated at over 100,000 Wyzenbeek double rubs. It features Charlotte’s Lifeguard performance finish, designed to repel liquids, stains, soil, and odors while also providing fade resistance. It’s 100% woven polyester, pet-friendly, and can be cleaned with water-based cleaners — a great combination for furniture that’s actually meant to be lived on.

We gave this generously sized armchair a complete new look in V269 Merlot from Charlotte Fabrics’ UltraHyde III collection. Its deep w**e colour and softly distressed leather appearance complement the chair’s classic curves beautifully, while antique-brass nailhead trim gives every edge a crisp, tailored finish.

This isn’t just a good-looking material—it’s a stain-resistant polyurethane upholstery vinyl rated for more than 2,000,000 Wyzenbeek double rubs. It’s suitable for demanding residential and commercial use and cleans with mild soap and water. A practical choice for a chair that’s meant to be enjoyed, not merely admired.

Another well-built piece ready for many more years of use.

This vintage chair came to us ready for much more than new fabric. We gave it a complete overhaul, replacing everything inside and out before upholstering its deep button tufted back, rolled arms, and seat. We also refinished and polished the original metal-tipped legs to bring back their shine.

For the upholstery, we used V939 Olive from Charlotte Fabrics’ UltraHyde Pro II collection. It has the rich look of leather in a beautiful, understated olive green, along with a soft microsuede backing and an ink- and stain-resistant finish. Rated for more than two million double rubs, it’s an exceptionally durable choice designed to keep looking great through years of use.

The decorative nails add the perfect finishing detail while preserving the chair’s vintage character. It may still have the same frame, but nearly everything else has been given a fresh start.

A fresh new look—and a fabric made for real life. 🍂

We recently reupholstered this wooden armchair in F400-158 from Charlotte Fabrics. Its warm terracotta leaf pattern gives the chair a welcoming, updated look while complementing the richness of the dark wood beautifully.

Good upholstery fabric needs to offer more than looks. This American-made performance fabric exceeds 60,000 double rubs, making it suitable for heavy-duty use. It’s also pet-friendly, fade-resistant, PFAS-free, and naturally stain-resistant without an added topical treatment. Most stains can be cleaned with mild soap and water, and the fabric is even bleach-cleanable when necessary.

Beautiful, practical, and ready for many more years of use.

A few months ago, we reupholstered this classic truck bench seat, and yesterday, the owner stopped by to show us the finished product now that everything is back together.

The rich green upholstery fits the character of this truck perfectly, while the vertical pleating and clean stitched details give the bench a fresh, finished look without losing that classic feel.

We always appreciate it when customers come back to show us the final result. This one was especially satisfying to see back where it belongs.
