🔨 A little roof replacement in progress... and by “a little,” we mean over 90,000 sq. ft. 😅
This video shows our project at DSBN Westlane removing the existing concrete roof deck and installing a brand-new metal roof deck system on the existing steel joists.
Westlane is just one of several similar DSBN roof replacement projects we’re completing this summer, with more than 90,000 sq. ft. of roof deck being replaced across the jobs.

👷‍♂️ Meet Spencer Hare – Site Superintendent

With 8 years at Duomax and a career spent in the construction industry, Spencer has become one of our most trusted Site Superintendents. Around the office, he’s earned the unofficial title, our “Church Expert,” having successfully led many of our church projects over the years.

Known for his incredible work ethic, attention to detail, and outstanding communication, Spencer always goes the extra mile to ensure every project runs smoothly and every client’s expectations are exceeded. If there’s a problem, you can count on Spencer to have a solution.

💡Fun Fact: Spencer is a proud dad of 2 daughters and a true family guy. Between leading jobsites all day and being outnumbered at home every night, he’s learned that managing a construction site might actually be the easy part!!

👷‍♂️ Meet Mike Werkman – Site Superintendent

With over 17 years in the construction industry, Mike brings experience, grit, and dedication to every jobsite he steps on. He’s known for his strong work ethic - never calling it a day until the job is done right!

Dependable, hardworking, and an all-around great guy (a real beauty, if you ask us), Mike has led some of Duomax’s largest projects as a Site Super while also playing a key role on our management team.

💡Fun Fact: Mike is a proud dad of 4 girls who definitely keep him on his toes - especially when it comes to braiding hair. Safe to say, he’s mastered more than just construction… he’s the ultimate “girl dad.”

From learning the trades as a teen to leading projects and now co-owning Duomax, Ed’s journey is all about passion, skill, and leadership. Starting as a certified carpenter, he’s worn many hats—site superintendent, estimator, project manager—and today, he’s steering the company as we continue to construct with confidence in the construction industry!

Fun Fact: Ed gave up the tools in 2017, but his hands-on experience still shapes every project he’s managing!
