Choosing the perfect palette can feel overwhelming, which is why we offer free color consultations and estimates.

To help you visualize the final result, we can also provide complimentary 8.5" x 11" oversized paint swatches. Testing these larger swatches in your space allows you to see firsthand how shifting daylight, evening artificial lighting, and changing seasons interact with both the color and the sheen. Our goal is to ensure you feel completely confident in your selection before the first brushstroke.

Did you know? ⚠️ 🖌️

Modern water-based latex paint cannot chemically bond to the hard, glossy, slick surface of old oil paint. If you roll right over it, the new paint will sit on the surface like a layer of rubber. A few weeks later, it will crack and peel off in giant, frustrating sheets at the slightest scratch.

🎨 Paint Myth Monday🎨

Definitely a myth ... Paints and finishes are formulated with entirely different chemicals, binders, and pigments designed for specific surfaces and durability needs. Choosing the wrong paint or finish can lead to peeling, cracking, or a surface that is impossible to clean.

Kitchens and bathrooms need moisture-resistant paints, while high-traffic hallways need washable sheens like satin or eggshell.🖌️

One of the most important steps in a cabinet reinstallation 🧰

When reinstalling the hardware, using a drill at full power will instantly strip out the screw holes. Once those wood fibers are stripped, the hinge loosens, and the cabinet doors will eventually sag.

The secret is dropping the drill clutch to its lowest torque setting. It ensures a perfectly tight bracket without ever stripping the wood frame.

Sanding kitchen cabinets isn’t the fun part, but it’s the most important part. To get a smooth, durable finish that actually lasts, you have to break down that glossy factory finish and give the primer a surface it can actually hang onto.
