Monday - Friday 40 hours per week
*MUST HOLD DRIVERS LICENSE *
NIDUS Development Inc. is seeking a reliable, hands-on individual to assist with the day-to-day coordination of residential construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the main on-site contact for contractors and trades working on new home construction.
* Relay information, questions and site updates between contractors and management.
* Assist with coordinating access to worksites, including locking and unlocking properties as required.
* Pick up and deliver construction materials and supplies to worksites.
* Keep worksites clean, organized and ready for the next contractor or stage of construction.
* Ensure required site signage is properly displayed and maintained.
* Monitor general site conditions and report issues, deficiencies or concerns to management.
* Assist with basic carpentry, construction and site-related tasks as required.
* Help ensure sites are prepared and accessible for scheduled contractors.
* Drive company work trucks as required.
Requirements:
* Previous carpentry and/or construction experience.
* Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record and ability to safely operate work trucks.
* Availability Monday to Friday.
* Reliable, organized and comfortable working independently.
* communication skills and ability to work effectively with contractors, trades and management.
* Ability to perform physical construction-site duties, including lifting and moving materials
