I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES! 🤣

This one threw me a curve ball! I was at a job for some awesome people that just recently purchased a house. I had a couple of things to do around the place, and one was checking to see why this plug didn't have power. I put in my tester in it and sure enough, not power. I went to pull out my tester and the whole plug started coming out! I was a bit worried about why it was so loose and thought I had broken it.
As I pulled the plug out I immediately noticed a string attached to the back of it. A pull cord perhaps for a wire to be fed to that receptacle? Nope! As I pulled the string more and more, the back plate in the wall came out and revealed a hidden compartment!! I have never come across this in my line of work yet, and thought it was worth a share! Another one to add to the list of "I've seen it all".
