A mood board can help you curate ideas, color schemes, and textures for your space. It can serve as a visual reference when you’re trying to choose the right paint colors, finishes, and other elements for your space.

Here are a few steps to create your own mood board:

1. Gather inspiration: Start by collecting pictures, and any other things that inspire you. You can use magazines, websites, or even photos you’ve taken of your own space or other spaces you admire.

2. Choose a color palette (if you don’t know where to start, I can help! Consider the overall vibe you want to achieve in the room and choose a color palette that reflects that mood. You can choose a monochromatic palette, a complementary palette, or a triadic palette.

3. Add textures: Once you have a color palette in mind, think about the textures you want to incorporate into the room. For example, you could use a matte paint finish on the walls and a glossy finish on the trim or furniture, wallpaper, faux finish, etc.

4. Include sample materials: Cut out or print out images of materials that you want to incorporate into the space, such as wallpaper, fabric, or tiles.

5. Arrange your mood board: Organize your inspiration materials on a bulletin board or a large piece of paper. You can arrange them in any way that makes sense to you, but try to create a cohesive look by using similar colors, textures, and materials.
