Our team is growing!

We’re excited to welcome Ava Shrestha, Business Operations Specialist, and David Fendler, Civil Technologist, to co-elevate.

Ava brings her people-focused, problem-solving approach to the many moving pieces behind our business, while David adds his civil design, construction and contract administration experience to our growing Civil team.

They also bring plenty of curiosity, creativity and some pretty great nerd credentials along with them.

Welcome to co-elevate, Ava + David! We’re so happy to have you here.

A Word from Russ Parker, P.Eng., MSc, CD

Russ Parker, P.Eng., MSc, CD, has spent his career leading people through complex, high-stakes work.

During 25 years with the Canadian Armed Forces, Russ has completed numerous diving missions in both exercise and operational settings. In 2010, he served as a team leader as part of the longest sustained ice-diving operation in Canadian Forces history, near CFS Alert.

In his engineering career, Russ has led multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of major capital projects, particularly within the agricultural sector. Today, we work closely with him on large-scale agricultural projects across the Prairies.

That experience gives Russ a clear understanding of what dependable teamwork looks like: practical thinking, sound judgment and people who can be counted on when the work gets difficult.

So, when Russ says co-elevate saves his projects time and money, it means a great deal to us.

We are grateful for more than a decade of trust, collaboration and shared work with Russ and we are lucky to have him on our team too.

Help Shape the Next Evolution of Engineering Delivery

For more than five years, we’ve been building our collaboration machine. This machine is at the core of our company niche.

People realizing their potential through collaboration.

It brings together transparency, inspection, adaptability, and shared ownership to create better project flow, better outcomes, and a better work experience for our teams. Now, we’re looking for an Agile Delivery Lead to take the operator’s seat. Not to build the system from scratch but to guide it, challenge it, refine it, and help shape what the next five years of agile engineering delivery can become.

The machine is running. The seat is waiting.

Not all partners stamp drawings.

Some help build the systems and foster the conditions that make great work possible.

At co-elevate, partnership has always meant more than ownership. It is a commitment to our purpose, our people, our clients, and the long-term health of the firm. It is about stewarding the business with care, strengthening the systems that support our teams, and helping shape the future we are building together.

That is why we are proud to share that Kathi Lamprecht has officially joined the co-elevate partnership group.

Kathi is our Corporate Director and our first partner from a business executive background.

While our technical partners help lead the engineering, Kathi helps lead the business that supports it. Kathi brings clarity, care, discipline, accountability, and a steady understanding of where co-elevate is trying to go. She helps embed our purpose into decision-making, supports the people-first culture we are working to protect, and ensures our ambition is matched by the structure required to sustain it.

Her leadership reflects what partnership means at co-elevate: contributing meaningfully, stewarding responsibly, and helping create a more fulfilling and inspiring work experience.

Welcome to the partnership, Kathi! 🤝

At co-elevate, we believe great teams aren't built by working together alone.
They're built by cheering each other on.
Giving back.
Sharing a meal.
Spending time together.
Creating stories worth remembering.

Here's a snapshot of our last few months from the Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women, to Ronald McDonald House London, to our annual summer BBQ.
We're pretty lucky to work with this crew. ☀️💜

There’s more to co-elevate than structural engineering.
And while we’d never call our structural team uncivilized, today we’re taking a look at the civil side of co-elevate.
From site plans and servicing design to stormwater management and construction management plans, our civil team helps support projects from the ground up. 🌱

We are excited to welcome Guillaume Courtois, C.E.T. as co-elevate’s new Civil Lead.

Guillaume brings nearly 20 years of civil engineering and land development experience across site development, stormwater management, servicing, approvals, inspections, contract administration, and project leadership.

For our clients and project partners, that means stronger civil thinking earlier in the process.

The questions that shape a site rarely wait until drawings are finished.
How will the site drain?
How will water and sanitary be serviced?
What will approvals require?
What will construction actually need?

Guillaume has spent his career working through those questions with clients, contractors, municipalities, and project teams across Ontario and Quebec in both English and French.

We are thrilled to have him leading the evolved civil at co-elevate.

Welcome, Guillaume.

Project BRICK has officially launched at co-elevate. 🧱✨

This project is a reflection of who we are as a team and the kind of culture we’re intentionally building together.

At co-elevate, we believe great work happens when people feel comfortable bringing their full selves to the table from day one. The nerdy passions. The goofy energy. The creativity. The individuality. The ambition. The curiosity. All of it.

Because while we take our work seriously, we never believed people should have to leave their personality at the door to be considered professional. At its core, Project BRICK is about belonging, inclusion, and recognition - celebrating the humans behind the work and the unique perspectives each person brings to the team, because great teams aren’t built by everyone fitting into the same mold. They’re built by people feeling comfortable enough to show up authentically and contribute in their own way.
It’s playful. It’s personal. It’s a little nerdy.
And honestly… we think that’s where the magic happens. 💜

This is what early should look like.

Before final drawings exist, our civil team is already reading the site.

Where can it be serviced? How much water will be needed for domestic and fire protection? How will sanitary servicing be handled? How does stormwater want to move? What constraints are hiding in the lot? What is the geotech report really telling us? What needs to be solved before the project gets expensive?

Some sites are ready for what you are planning. Others need meaningful work before a shovel goes in. Knowing which one you are standing on early changes everything.

We do our best work alongside the planners and architects already in the room. The earlier everyone is at the table, the better the project.

If you have land and an idea, that is enough to start the conversation.
