Essex Renovations Limited is a London based, family-owned business that focuses on high-end residential renovations and restorations. We are looking for a professional Lead Carpenter to join our team that focuses on quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities of the Job: The Renovator will be responsible for framing, drywall, installation of trim, doors and windows.
Desired Work Experience:
- 3 years of residential renovations experience (required)
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College program in related field is an asset
Duties and Skills:
- Required to be proficient in residential framing, drywall, trim, taping and installation of doors and windows
- Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches and create material lists
- Should be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Perform miscellaneous tasks (caulking, insulation, prepare for installation of appliances and fixtures)
- Must be willing (and able) to work 40-44 hours per week with 8:00am starts
- Able to evaluate customer requests and communicate effectively
Mandatory Qualifications:
- G or G2 licence with a clean record
- Applicants require a resume and construction related references
- Must own vehicle and have reliable transportation to work
- Recent police check is required
- Must own some tools
* Hourly pay rate varies on experience and proficiency in relevant skills. After 1 year of employment, employees are entitled to a tool & boot allowance as well as a Health Care spending account plan.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $37,440.00-$53,000.00 per year
