🪵 Wondering how much wood you'll need this winter?

Most households that heat with wood go through several cords over a cold Nova Scotia winter - and the folks who order early are the ones relaxing when the snow hits.

We're cutting, splitting, and delivering right now. Send us a message and we'll help you figure out what you need and get you on the schedule.

Pro tip: Stack your firewood on reclaimed pallets. Most local businesses give them away for free, and elevating the wood provides essential ground clearance and airflow to season your wood faster and prevent rot.

Want to keep your firewood burning hotter, cleaner, and longer this season? Here’s a quick tip from the Burn Bright team! 🪵🔥

Next time you're out, ask a local store if they have any spare wooden pallets you can grab. Stacking your firewood delivery on pallets is one of the best ways to protect your investment:

Maximum Airflow: Gets air circulating under the stack so your wood stays dry and seasoned.

Moisture Protection: Keeps your bottom logs off the wet ground so they don't rot or soak up water.

Pest Barrier: Keeps bugs and ground critters out of your pile.

Sturdy Base: Gives you a clean, level foundation that prevents shifting and tipping.

A little airflow goes a long way! Just remember to always ask the store before loading up-most are more than happy to let you reuse standard pallets.
