We wanted to take a minute to say a huge THANK YOU to these customers for taking the time to share their experiences with Matt. Posts like these honestly mean so much to us.

When Matt started Matt’s Septic Service, he didn’t want to be the guy who simply shows up, pumps a tank and leaves. He wanted to build a business where people know they can count on him to do the job properly, listen to what they need, and help wherever he can.

🦷 SERVICE UPDATE

Believe it or not, even the septic guy needs a little maintenance once in a while! 😄

Matt will be off work next Tuesday, July 28, while he gets two wisdom teeth removed, so there will be no septic service that day.

Our plan is to be back on Wednesday, but we’ll have to play that by ear depending on how he’s recovering. If anything changes, we’ll be sure to let everyone know.

We apologize for any inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Thanks for supporting our small family business—we look forward to getting back to serving you as soon as possible!

💧 Did You Know?

Your septic tank doesn’t need expensive additives to work properly.

A healthy septic system already contains the natural bacteria it needs to break down waste. In most cases, regular pumping and being mindful of what goes down your drains are all it takes to keep your system working well.

A few things to avoid flushing:
🚫 “Flushable” wipes
🚫 Grease and cooking oils
🚫 Feminine hygiene products
🚫 Paper towels
🚫 Harsh chemicals in large amounts

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

We wanted to give everyone advance notice of a significant change that will affect septic service pricing beginning July 1, 2026.

The municipality has informed septic haulers that disposal fees will be increasing to $70 per dump as part of the funding for a new wastewater treatment facility.

Please note that this change only affects customers within the RM of La Broquerie. Customers in the RM of Piney and RM of Ste. Anne will not be affected and their rates will remain the same.

Unfortunately, this is a cost that all licensed septic service providers must pay when disposing of waste at approved municipal facilities.

As a small local business, we have worked hard to keep our rates fair and affordable. However, a 900% increase in disposal costs leaves us no choice but to adjust our pricing effective July 1.

Currently, our standard service rate is $140. With the new $70 municipal dumping fee applied to each load, this will increase our service rate to $210 plus GST.

We understand that nobody welcomes additional costs, and we share your frustration. This increase is not a decision made by Matt’s Septic Service, but rather a municipal fee change that impacts our industry.

We remain committed to providing reliable, professional service and legal, responsible disposal practices for our customers and community.

📢 CUSTOMER SERVICE UPDATE 📢

To help ensure our customers always know when service has been completed and have easy access to their invoice, Matt’s Septic Service will be introducing a new invoicing procedure.

Going forward, after your service is completed, we will be sending a copy of your invoice electronically by text message or email whenever possible.

This means:

✅ Confirmation that your service has been completed
✅ A secure copy of your invoice for your records
✅ No worries about invoices being misplaced, damaged, or blowing away before you see them
✅ Easy access to payment information when you’re ready to pay

Over the next few months, we will be collecting customer email addresses as we transition toward electronic invoicing as our standard method of invoice delivery.

Paper invoices will still be available upon request.

If you’re booking a service with us, please be prepared to provide your email address so we can serve you more efficiently.
