Snow Shovelers

We are looking for snow shovelers that will help with snow removal and de-icing services on sidewalks, driveways and parking lots for various commercial properties.

Hours are heavily dependent on the snow fall.

Ideal candidates are ones that are eager to work more hours and are physically fit to do manual shovel on various sites

Small Equipment Operator: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Small Equipment Operator to join our team for snow removal this winter.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating a Skidsteer, TerrainCut, and etc. Hours will vary week-to-week and are semi flexible.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure it is in good working order and complete walkarounds on our online fleet management system.

- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work and ensure efficient operation of equipment

With the downturn in the oilfield, Colten was able to find new opportunities to showcase his skills and passion for his new found love in Landacape construction. Joining our team for less than a year, he has quickly gained a leadership role through his exceptional pride, safety and care for his team and clients.

Commercial Estimates and Property Care

Born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta; Christina moved to Medicine Hat in 2014 and started her own photography business. After nearly a decade of running a successful photography business, Christina was looking to make a career change focusing more on her digital design strengths and continuing to grow and improve her skills across the industries. In fall of 2020, she began studies at the Medicine Hat College in the Built Environment Engineering Technology program.

In Spring of 2021, Christina joined the Avara team with a focus on Commercial Estimates and Property Care, also taking on any odds and ends that were thrown her way. Christina’s passion for customer service and ability to find solution to problems when they arise, have made her an valuable asset in the office, in the field, and a strong liaison for her clients.
