Before and after photo of a quick light swap we did for a client’s garage/workshop. We pulled down the old single-bulb mounts and slapped up six of these four-foot LED lights. The difference is night and day.

A Look at Pneumatic-Over-Electrical Control Systems 🔍
Here’s an example of an older pneumatic-over-electrical control setup found on a piece of mobile equipment. The solenoids shown here are responsible for activating multiple functions, all based on commands from the unit’s PLC (programmable logic controller).

Systems like these blend electrical signals with pneumatic actuation, allowing complex motion and control on industrial and mobile machinery. While technology has advanced, these hybrid systems are still common in the field - and understanding them is key to troubleshooting and upgrading older equipment safely.

Here’s a look at an upgrade we completed for a gas distribution site. This new LED safety light is powered directly from the existing communications system, providing reliable illumination exactly where it’s needed.

The added lighting significantly improves visibility for workers - especially during after-hours or emergency nighttime callouts - helping ensure tasks can be performed safely and efficiently.

Upgrading a Decade-Old Line Heater with Modern Controls ⚡
This Techvalco 140,000 BTU/hr line heater has been in service for nearly ten years. During a station overhaul, our client brought the unit back to their shop - the perfect opportunity to modernize its control system.

We upgraded the heater with a Clear Rush Co. CSC400 burner controller, giving it improved safety, better efficiency, and the ability to be monitored and controlled with modern automation tools.

A trusted piece of equipment, now updated for the next decade of operation.
