UPDATE : after careful consideration, we have picked not one, but two winners. We won't be announcing the winners publicly for obvious privacy reasons..
We appreciate everyone who shared their story, I know sometimes it's not necessarily easy. We made our choice based on severity of the situation, and whether or not someone's Health was at risk. In this situation we found two people that will 100% need some sort of intervention, in order to prevent further sickness, or potentially getting ill . All submissions have been responded to. UPDATE this little guy made it to his temporary home for the winter, last I checked he's doing well

FUEL PAID : looking for someone heading to Strathmore today, to transport this little gaffer to a wildlife sanctuary. Last person fell through. He's been in my care since yesterday, he's going to need to be fed soon.

It's not that time of year for bats to be out, so if you find one inside or around your property, give your local Pest Control or a sanctuary a holler. We shouldn't be seeing many of these little guys flying around right now, and since they're a protected species, we all have a responsibility to handle them with care, especially pest control folks. If you find a bat this time of year, just leave him be and call Pest Control right away. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, throw a tea towel or some rags over top of them, scoop him up, and pop them in a small plastic container with holes in the top. Just don't feed or give them water, Call someone to come pick him up, pronto. 🦇💚🐦🌟👍

Fun fact of the day ? 🤣

Fun Fact: Pufferfish release a toxin when they puff out that is meant to impair the attacker, so they can safely escape. Ironically, this doesn’t work on dolphins in the same way.. it actually gets them high. So they purposely inflate them and pass them around to their dolphin friends for fun.
