Our community is hurting today.

Two of our RCMP officers were injured while serving and protecting us, and our thoughts are with them, their families, their fellow officers, and everyone affected by this tragedy.

We may not be able to take away the pain or uncertainty, but we can stand together and remind them that they are not facing this alone.

Melville is behind you. We are praying for your healing, your strength, and your safe recovery. We are grateful for your courage, your service, and the sacrifices you make for our community every day.

A friendly reminder,
When reaching out for quotes, we completely understand that a quote is simply part of the decision-making process. Life happens, budgets change, it may come in higher than anticipated, timelines shift, and sometimes plans simply do not work out. Trust me, we’ve been there too. There is never any pressure or hard feelings if you decide not to move forward.

That being said, many businesses invest a significant amount of time, communication, planning, travel, and resources into preparing quotes. When we do not hear back, it can leave businesses unsure whether to reserve space in schedules or assume the project is no longer moving ahead. Sometimes, quotes affect not only the person doing them, but also others involved within the scope of work, leaving multiple people wondering where things stand.

A quick message letting a business know you have decided not to proceed truly goes a long way. While it may feel uncomfortable to send, it is greatly appreciated and helps businesses plan accordingly, offer availability to other clients, and provides clarity for everyone involved.

We genuinely appreciate every inquiry and every opportunity, regardless of the outcome.

Sincerely,
A wife who sees firsthand how much hard work, time, and dedication goes into every quote and every project opportunity.

1540 sq ft addition underway — not exactly the best day for a concrete pour, but days like today remind me that nothing worth building ever comes easy.

Fun fact: this house was built in 1976 on my grandpa’s land, and for decades it’s held generations of memories, milestones, and family tradition. Instead of tearing down a piece of our history to build something completely new, we chose to keep the story going. There’s something special about adding onto a home that already has meaning — keeping the old foundations alive while making room for new memories.
