Our Hockley Valley project is steadily taking shape, with each new stage of construction bringing the original vision a little closer to reality.

During our latest site visit, our design and construction team met with to review locally sourced limestone selections. This material will become a defining feature throughout the property, creating a natural connection between the surrounding landscape, exterior architecture, and interior living spaces.

Working closely with our clients, construction team, and skilled trades throughout the process allows us to consider every detail in relation to the larger vision, ensuring the finished home feels intentional, cohesive, and deeply connected to its setting.

A look behind the build at our Hockley Valley Estate.

Our team is on site as this custom integrated design and build moves through an important stage of construction. With more than 800 cubic metres of concrete forming the foundation, much of the work happening now will eventually sit quietly beneath the finished home; but it’s fundamental to everything still to come.

Next, steel, trusses and framing will begin to bring the architecture above grade, revealing the scale and form of the home within its setting.

We’ll be sharing more as the vision continues to take shape.

Some spaces call for reinvention. Others simply need a new perspective.

For this waterfront cottage, the existing character became the foundation for a thoughtful refresh; one that brought a renewed sense of warmth and refinement while preserving the familiarity that makes it feel like home.

A curated furniture & décor package became an integral layer in the transformation, bringing texture, depth and cohesion to the interiors while complementing the character already woven throughout the cottage.

The result feels collected and refreshed, yet entirely connected to what came before; a familiar cottage, thoughtfully reimagined.

A decades-old cottage, thoughtfully reimagined around the qualities that made its setting so special.

Tucked into a bay on a steeply sloping property, the existing cottage held a unique relationship with the shoreline. Rather than working against those conditions, they became an important part of the design.

Expansive windows now take full advantage of the topography, opening the cottage to uninterrupted views and creating the feeling of being almost suspended above the water.

Guided by our clients’ imaginative vision and openness throughout the process, the transformation became a reflection of both the property and the people who call it their own—distinctive, deeply personal, and rooted in place.

Designed for the kind of summer days you never want to end.

We recently had the opportunity to revisit this integrated design and build project and see how beautifully the property has evolved since we were last here. With the landscape now matured and the gardens lush and established, the original vision for the home and its surroundings can finally be experienced in full.

Around the pool, patios, pathways, gardens, and seating areas create a natural rhythm throughout the backyard, with spaces to gather, dine, and lounge. From slow days by the pool, to dinner on the patio and conversations that carry into the evening, it was designed to make the most of life outdoors.

Perhaps the best part of returning was seeing how our clients have settled into it and made it their own. What was once imagined on paper is now the backdrop for time spent together, long summer days, and evenings that spill well past sunset.
