Milking some s**g bark hickory and one white oak log from a local farm for the owner who is a cabinet maker. These are some of the nicest and oldest hickory logs I have seen, don't see a whole lot worth milling anyway. I bet a couple of these 18-20" logs are 150-200 years old, some very slow growing hardwood.

Hickory is very hard and dry it's incredibly hard on blades and I haven't had much luck cutting it in the past.
Big thanks and shout out to saw blades for sending me a demo carbide blade saw blade. That thing was a real game changer on this wood. I'll be buying some in the future for sure.
