Now hiring: Crew Lead
Pay: $25 to $35 an hour, based on experience
Job type: Permanent, full-time, year-round
Work location: In person. Based at our yard at 1114 Lower Base Line East, Milton, ON, with sites across Halton, Peel and the GTA
International Landscaping Inc. is a family run company with over 30 years in business. We are growing and hiring full-time people for both the residential and commercial sides of the business.
We are looking for an experienced Crew Lead to run a crew in our landscape and snow operations: landscape maintenance from spring to fall, snow and ice management in winter.
What you'll do:
• Lead a crew on site and own the quality of the work, in summer and in winter
• Plan the day from the work order or site plan and keep the crew moving without waiting for direction
• Drive the crew truck and trailer, load equipment, and operate landscaping and snow equipment safely
• Make sure the crew follows company safety policies and procedures
• Keep forepersons and managers informed so every site is maintained to the standard the client expects
What you need:
• At least 1 year of landscaping or snow industry experience leading a crew
• Valid G licence with a clean driving record
• Experience with trucks, trailers and landscaping equipment
• Able to work outdoors in all weather and do physical work
• A lead-by-example approach: on time, organized, and focused on teamwork, quality and safety
