Playful Praying Mantis visit during work today!

Beautiful rose found today, October 26th, in a client's garden bed. It seems unbothered by the cold night temperatures. Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me.

Still showing off in late October! 🌸❄️

I can't believe how tough Dorotheanthus bellidiformis 'Mezoo Trailing Red' (Livingstone Daisy) is. This planter sits right outside our back door and has braved multiple frosty nights, yet the variegated foliage still looks fresh and full and tiny deep rose red daisies are still blooming!
Known for loving blazing hot, dry summer sun, it has turned out to be an unexpected fall champ!
I have recently learned that you can take simple cuttings now to overwinter on a bright windowsill. 🌞 What unexpected plants are still hanging on in your garden right now?

Good evening, friends! Between 4 pm and 5 pm on this gorgeous Fall evening, I recorded 17 bird species in our back yard! We are truly living in a magical place. We have an App called "Merlin" that records the sounds of birds in the area.
This is this evening's visitors list: 🐦Blue Winged Teal, Hairy Woodpecker, House Sparrow, Northern Cardinal, Purple Finch, Song Sparrow, Red-Winged Blackbird, American Goldfinch, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Dark-eyed Junco, Cedar Waxwing, European Starling, Blue Jay, Black-capped Chickadee, American Robin, American Crow 🐦‍⬛
Such a great App to have on your iPhone! It is a free App to help you discover and learn about the many birds in your neighbourhood! So much fun!

A little fall glam for the front door! Deep crimson, soft blush blooms, & mini white pumpkins cone together to welcome the season in style.

My cousin had a cute visitor in her garden today! The European Hedgehog would normally be napping that time of day!

Found this spotted Tussock Caterpillar navigating its way around the rim of the pool. Warning: do not touch this caterpillar as the defensive hairs can detach and embed in your skin causing localized itching & a # painful reaction similar to mild poison ivy.
