So pulled this panel out Federal Pioneer stab Lok for a panel change. These panel have been discontinued from fires in homes in the states. One of several design flaws is Illustrated here in the pictures which is just a compression fit to the bus bar. The problem is in higher loads and heating of the metals they start to expand and contract leaving room for potential arcing. Shown with the burning of the one connection. You can even see the discoloration in the name busbars running down the centre of the panel, indicating temperature differences from the arcing. If you ever hear buzzing coming from your panel it is probably arcing inside like this one was. Take some time and check your panel to hear of the tell tail buzzing. Most of the time is is secondary breakers and is an easy inexpensive fix.
