Mission accomplished! After overcoming logistical challenges and tight deadlines, the new docks have safely arrived at Shelburne Shipyard. A huge thank you to everyone involved—teamwork made it happen!

Latest on the new docks...They are here!!!

The new docks have all been delivered from Structurmarine to Shelburne Shipyard after a tariff driven roller coaster ride taken by both LCYC and the StructurMarine team (SM team in pic).

SM did a yeoman's job to expedite manufacturing and shipment to get the docks across the border before the ever changing tariff deadlines. Mission accomplished!!

The Shelburne Shipyard team has also been very helpful and supportive throughout this whole process. If you see Andrew Connell (SSY GM) say thanks!!!

A team from SM and LCYC, along with support from SSY and Pierre, will be launching the docks at SSY, moving them to LCYC and installing them in mid April.

We are thrilled to announce that has been chosen to deliver the dock and access components for the privately developed, owned and operated Navy Pier Marina project at one of Chicago’s most iconic landmarks.

Being part of a project of such significance at a location steeped in history is an incredible honor for us. It reflects our expertise in designing innovative and sustainable marinas to meet the developer’s vision for the transformation of this unique space, creating short-term (transient) recreational boater and commercial user access to Chicago’s lakefront.

A huge thanks to our partners and dedicated team for their trust and hard work. This project is a key milestone in Structurmarine’s journey!

Greetings, Marina Enthusiasts,

We are pleased to report that construction of Navy Pier Marina has commenced and will proceed throughout the winter. The current schedule projects substantial completion by the end of April 2025. We expect to open soon after.

Concurrent with this milestone, we are building our reservation system for transient, short-term stays and expect to open reservations for the 2025 season after the new year.

If you are a commercial seasonal user, such as a charter, cruise ship, broker, dealer, or boat club, please fill out the form found on our homepage so we can process your request. We can accommodate vessels up to 183’.

I am honored that Mark Stevens, U.S. Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer (retired) and marina operations professional, has joined our team as General Manager. You will see updates from Mark in the coming months. When we are ready to hire, he will post an application link on our webpage.

We are very excited to see you on the docks next season!
