How is it a home owners issue when Moosejaw Cory sewer is fully plugged and backing up in to their basement. Got called to a customers house. Plugged sewe. Upon arrival found water in basement and the floor drain backing up. tried to unplug the sewer. Instantly knew it was a plugged city main. Called the emergency number. Told them the main sewer was plugged. Instead of sending the hydro vac to solve the problem. They sent someone to check to see what the problem is. And than instead of bringing the city owned hydro vac we call a private contractor. To suck out the water. And than they are going to call another truck in to solve the problem.

This is a public service announcement. Sgi has changed the rules regarding sewer replacement. The new rules state that if your house is older than fifty years. You are only covered for 2500. While if your house is newer you will receive 10000 of coverage. As soon as your insurance renews this year the nee coverage takes affect.
