With a recent retirement and finally settling roots after a fulfilling career on the move our clients forever home lacked personality and character.

From large boulder gardens, flag stone walkways and patio, to a beautifully wrapped cedar deck and new chunky posts: this place finally screams “home”

New look. Same roots.

We’re excited to finally share our new look.

Our original logo was designed almost 7 years ago(insane it’s been 7 years) to represent blades of grass. While we no longer offer grass cutting services it’s a huge part of building the roots for K2D2 Landscaping.

As our business has grown, so has our vision. We’ve shifted our focus toward creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces through softscapes, hardscapes, and outdoor living.

We wanted our new logo to reflect that growth while staying true to our roots and the work that got us here.

To everyone who has supported us along the way, whether you’ve been with us since the grass-cutting days or have joined us more recently, thank you. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you.

Here’s to embracing where we started and looking forward to where we’re going!

Today’s our last day with our incredible team members Daniel, Miguel and Jorge. These guys came in August when our schedule was jammed, and more hands on deck were required to get everything done. We’re almost caught up now and they’re onto another project but we will certainly miss them.

I know I’ll for sure miss my daily Spanish lessons 😂

The pictures don’t do it justice, but, we’re happy to report the Clarke pool is officially complete.

We did a turn key package on this one; from the interlock, the deck, the fence, gardens, gazebo and even the pool shed.

We will have to get back in the spring when the cover is off to get some more pictures of this backyard oasis 🏊

Hard to get this monster into one shot.

Thank you Daleys for once again trusting us to bring your vision to life. What a spectacular spot to sit and enjoy the view.

I said to the guys this week, how crazy is it we took a bunch of rocks, set them on a grade we basically pulled out of our 🍑 , to then come back in multiple phases and tie it all in seamlessly into a work of art.

Charleston you’ve been great, but I can’t wait to get to white lake with my girls

Bill and Barb had a chipping patio that was an emergency room visit waiting to happen.

A full day of jackhammering later and they now have a beautiful, level, properly graded patio with a full newly sodded back yard to top it all off 🧱

More personal post than business post.

Feeling just beyond grateful lately for everyone that supports our business. I was asked this week by an employee if I ever felt like giving up. Honestly, most days I still do. But this business has allowed us to grow our family, ensure there is always food on the table and allow us to support local community events and it’s all because of the support from our incredible clients who choose to spend their hard earned money with us.

It was a very nostalgic morning in our household; I felt like I was a kid again, The crockpot is filled and on so we can host family supper, music blaring and toys everywhere. What makes it more special is my kids are playing with my toys I played with 30 years ago.

We’re all living the same rat race, but I hope you take some time today to just enjoy life and where you’re at. 5 year ago you would be proud of today you.

Our season is quickly going to wrap up soon, and the endless hours of winter will be here before we know it, but today, I’m just a sappy little biaaatch thankful to be healthy, loved by my family.

The Community Care building gardens were tired and neglected, we dug out all the overgrown plants, added new topsoil and some fresh columnar oak trees and topped it off with new sod
You’re welcome everybody, we installed sod
so now it wont rain for weeks 😂
