It’s snow season! ❄️
We hope everyone is keeping warm!!

This is your friendly reminder to keep an eye on your outdoor units. You must keep the snow clear of your units for them to work properly. Built up snow can result in built up ice, and maybe even a broken fan. Keep in mind that your warranty may not cover parts that are damaged due to negligence.

You should remove any and all snow on your unit, and shovel out underneath and around the best you can. Problems will arise if there is major buildup.

Reminder to our customers:
Clean out any snow and ice that may have built up on your outdoor machines overnight during the storm. With the power gone, the unit is not working to keep it off, and starting your machine without checking could result in broken parts. You can use warm water or a hair dryer if you need to. Hope everyone’s not too long warming up today! Happy Holidays.

We would like to send out a reminder to our customers to remember to clean the snow and ice out of your outdoor units. After two snow storms this week, you can expect a build up inside of the machines. Be sure to also clear out the snow in under and around you machine to prevent future buildup. Your machine will NOT work correctly if there is snow and ice built up, parts can get damaged and break with continued use, and also keep in mind that warranty will not cover parts due to negligent actions. Taking care of your machine will save you money in the long run!

Tip: if you cannot get it all, flick your machine into AC for a short while and it will help burn off the remainder of the ice/snow.

Last chance to book a deep cleaning & maintenance checkup for 2025! Any cleanings booked after this week will be scheduled in for next spring. It is important to clean your unit every 2+ years (recommended yearly), especially if you use your AC a lot in the summer months.

Ideally, you should maintain your Heat Pump’s filters every month (depending on the season and usage). Dust and debris can clog the air filters over time, causing airflow to be restricted.
•Maintaining your heat pump’s filters will ensure optimum efficiency and reduce unnecessary energy consumption.
•The removal and cleaning of your filters is a relatively easy task that can be done without the assistance of a technician.
• The air filter should be removed and cleaned with a brush or a brush attachment to a vacuum. You may also want to rinse with lukewarm water. If it is too wet, use a soft dry cloth or leave it in a shaded area to dry.

Proper maintenance on your systems will allow for the cleanest, most efficient air flow. It will also ensure the proper lifespan of your unit.
