The is the process of turning items , to sketches, to 3d models into reality almost instantaneously with no delays, errors or going backwards. First try no warm ups.

This is flow state organic construction at its finest... none of this is complete but you can see where its heading...

This marks the pinnacle of not only a sacred chunk of granite but of teamwork, vision, craftsmanship and perseverance.

From building the meandering 3km trail up hills, along lake edges and across creeks to lifting the floor beams and original logs , to re engineering a frame roof and porch, building an ice road to get the materials across a .... we did it.

I cannot say enough great things about each and everyone at West Edge and every subcontractor that had their hands on this project.

This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and thanks to the visionary, Matt, for the creative inputs to bring this to life.

There are no wires in this and frankly its better that way.

We are designing a pegboard style wood sprial staircase, a stainless pipeline to bring water from the lake and a complete wood fired and gravity hot water system for kitchen , tub and hot tub.

Well guys, we made it.

From picking up the permit to backfill in 3.5 weeks during snow each pour and brutal freezing rain, we prevailed.

The here gets very complex which would have been too crazy to rush before Christmas so we blasted up to grade and left everything with encased , youll notice the snow melting off the footing extensions and they are also continous through the top of the concrete in the frostwall. This ensures no ice can form in the wall as we go up.

Interior will be with so we can pour the garage floor before half loads mid March. We are in wrap up mode in all sites now to finish strong and have a great and restful Holiday. Thanks to everyone involved working late through the grind to accomplish this.
