Did you know today's electrical code requires in-use weatherproof covers for receptacles? Therefore the receptacle is still protected from the weather with a device plugged in. It can even be done with most larger 30 or 50 amp RV or electric car charger receptacles! This particular Grizzl-E charger came with a removable and lockable mounting bracket, so it could be taken inside when the family was away to avoid theft, or to use the receptacle dual purpose for a welder!😎
