Big grand fir uprooted in the hospital area.
4ft diameter across the trunk
Roots were 6ft in the air.
Make chip, ramp, rinse, repeat!
4 hours, really good time and one happy customer!

9ftX7ft broad leaf maple group stump.
Cut down and SURFACE GROUND approximately 6 yrs ago. Our client wants it gone to complete landscaping. Backyard backs onto Nanaimo Golf opurse
Fyi 5 - 6 yrs is the perfect amount of time for spalting (rotting) to occur. Any maple can still be solid after that amount of time but not much of it.

So this is by far the oldest doug fir stump I have worked on.
Has been down estimate 40-50 years.
At least 4 1/2 ft diameter but decayed from the outside in so can't get a proper diameter nor can I count growth rings. Estimate it was 250 yrs old when it was cut down.
Heres the amazing part.......
8 inch thick bark on some of it at the base.
