Did you know that an AED is now available at the KJ shop?

Our AED is registered on the PulsPoint App. This allows others who are trained to use AEDs to be able to locate an AED close by in the event of a life threatening emergency.

We are proud to have this tool on our site in the event of an emergency. It's a tool we hope we never have to use but based on the statistical data, has a greater chance of saving someone's life if there is a cardiac event.

Survival rates decrease by 7-10% for each minute that passes without CPR or AED use. Research shows that the probability of survival goes up dramatically when CPR is performed and when an AED is applied before an ambulance arrives.
