“Why AFCI Protection Matters ⚡️🔥

Arc-Fault Circuit Interrupters (AFCIs) detect dangerous arcing in wiring — the kind that standard breakers miss. Loose connections, damaged cords, or nails through a wire can all create arcs that generate heat and start electrical fires within walls.

The Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) now requires AFCI protection for most living areas — bedrooms, family rooms, and finished basements — to stop fires before they start.
