Chipping For Care, and making a difference!

A huge thank you to Jo’s Tree Service for stopping by this morning with a very generous $2,150 donation to the Temiskaming Hospital Foundation through his Chipping For Care campaign!

Jo has turned his everyday work into an opportunity to give back to the community, with a portion of every tree service job going toward local healthcare.

When a linden starts splitting and failing a little strapping and rigging keeps everyone grinning and moving. Okay that’s enough rhyming.

Here’s a good example of the importance of proper structural pruning while trees are young.

This tree developed co-dominant stems and poor branch unions, creating significant structural defects that increased the likelihood of failure. Early structural pruning can help establish stronger branch architecture, reduce competing leaders, and improve the tree’s long-term structural integrity.
