WE’RE HIRING – CNC Programmer / Operator

Join our growing team! We are currently looking for a skilled CNC Programmer / Operator who is motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Program and operate CNC machinery
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Set up machines and ensure accurate production
• Perform quality checks and maintain equipment
• Work safely and efficiently to meet production deadlines

Qualifications:
• Experience with CNC programming and operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read measuring tools and blueprints
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Experience with granite/quartz or stone fabrication is an asset

Strong computer/math skills

Mechanically inclined

Willing to train the right candidate

🚀 We’re Hiring a Second Position: CNC Programmer – Full Time

Lauzon Stoneworks is looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to join our growing team. If you’re experienced with CNC programming and love precision manufacturing, this role is for you.

🔧 What You’ll Do:
• Program, test, and optimize CNC milling/lathe operations (Fanuc controls)
• Read blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings
• Set up machines, select tooling, and perform changeovers
• Run quality checks with calipers and measurement tools
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Maintain clean documentation and follow lean practices
• Support the team with occasional assembly and shop tasks

🛠 What You Bring:
• Strong CNC programming experience
• Mechanical/machining knowledge
• Experience with CAD/CAM (Easystone, SolidWorks, AlphaCam etc.)
• Ability to read blueprints & follow tight tolerances
• Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and shop equipment
• Welding skills a bonus

Lauzon Stoneworks is growing and we’re looking for a hardworking, reliable person to join our fabrication team. This hands-on role involves polishing, milling assistance, material handling, and general shop work. No experience require, just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do
• Help fabricate quartz, granite & porcelain countertops
• Use hand tools, grinders & polishers (training provided)
• Assist CNC operator with milling prep
• Load/unload slabs & keep the shop organized
• Follow safety procedures & maintain quality standards

What We’re Looking For
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Comfortable in a wet, noisy shop environment
• Reliable, punctual, team-oriented
• Experience with tools/construction is an asset
• Your own transportation required
