So good of Ruffino’s Pasta Bar and Grill's to honour Stan with this post!

If you’ve been welcomed into our dining room than you may have had the pleasure of sitting at one of our tables. Did you know that this handiwork is thanks to the hard-working local talent of Stan! A “small” project that he did in his retirement! Each table was made with wood that Chef Ryan and Stan reclaimed form several old winery barns from around niagara! Now that’s local! Thanks Stan! :)

Bev Hotchkiss and Chef Ryan Crawford are back in the house! After a nearly-three-year search for their own perfect restaurant location, the fates brought them right back to the very spot were they had met, fallen in love and married. Then, it was called The Stone Road Grille. Now, it's called Backhouse.

Even before Bev and Ryan had setled on their new location, we were pumped when they announced that they wanted "Pride of Niagara" to build the tables for their resto. Build them we did, and we're keeping the name that Ryan christened us with too!
