Loving our new outdoor wine table and slate coasters. Came out exactly to what I envisioned. After years of searching for an ultimate outdoor finish, and faster than properly applying a marine grade, I finally found it. Time will tell but I have my word on it.

Remnants of a walnut coffee table that I made for our living room, my dog Luna loved to curl up under, was meant to be for her ashes some day. After 14 1/2 years being by our side her day has come and is very well missed. The grain in one of the pieces surprised me so decided to book match it, allowing enough material to continue around the box. In a way it reminds me of her schnauzer beard with the knot hole being her nose.

Faux beams really gave these two rooms a fresh new look! Last picture on the right is an obvious before picture. Lots of work went into these using the old hand tools I had. How they actually made hand hewed beams from logs in the day gives me more appreciation on how they did things back then. Some still do the traditional techniques today.
