Another patio finished for another happy customer!
- This one was a pretty straight forward patio, we started by digging out the old grass and concrete pathway.
- Then we added a concrete retaining wall on the top step of the stairs on the side to limit our slope at the top of the stairs and create equal steps.
- Next was brining in the quality base materials of 3/4 Minus (road base), and Sechelt Sand.
- The Sechelt was then finely screeded to match all slopes.
- Then came the brick:
: Boarder ~ Standard, Shadow
: Patio ~ DBL Standard, Shadow
- Every brick in a curving boarder was hand cut.
- Every brick touching the curved boarder was hand cut.
- the final step for the bricks was to compact/sweep in polymeric joint sand to prevent weeds and insects.
- To finish up the job we touched up all surrounding edges with turf blend soil and grass seed.
