Of course we all absolutely love North Vancouver. And living in a temperate rainforest certainly has its perks. But I'd be willing to bet your siding disagrees.

If your roof lines, trim, or siding are starting to soften, peel, swell, or darken - it’s usually moisture finding it's way into your home. The scary part about water damage isn’t what you can see. It’s what’s happening behind the siding.

As you know we're celebrating Spring with our cedar planter giveaway (See last post!)

So while we're on the topic here are 3 Patio Refresh Tips 💜

🌱PLAN. Before moving anything, take stock. What’s staying, what’s worn out, and how do you actually want to use the space this season? Think in zones: dining, lounging, or circulation. Map it out the way you would an interior. Experiment, but start with a plan so the changes feel intentional, not temporary.

🌱CLEAN. A good reframe starts with a clean base. Go beyond the surface. Clear debris from edges and joints, and refresh cushions and textiles. This is also the time to flag anything that needs repair or replacing before it goes back into the space.

🌱 REFRAME. REFURBISH. RESET. Now reframe your space with purpose. Reintroduce only what works, refinish or replace what doesn’t, and build the space back up in layers: furniture first, any new plantings, lighting and touches of comfort. The goal is a patio or yard that holds up through the year, not just the season.
