Today we are celebrating the timeless elegance of distressed hardwood flooring! 🏡✨We love getting these unique requests because they put our skills to the test.

One of our clients approached us about doing a hardwood flooring install and requested a classic distressed look. Using reclaimed ash, with a two-tone stain, consisting of a weathered bottom coat and an amber topcoat, we were able to achieve this amazing look! 🌳🏰 Hardwood flooring dates back centuries, adorning royal palaces, rustic cottages and even old textile factories from the olden days.

Today, distressed hardwood looks like this brings a touch of history and character to modern spaces. 🏡💖 Its worn, weathered charm tells a story, making each plank a unique piece of art. 📜✨ It allows us to embrace the warmth and authenticity of hardwood floors - a design choice that connects us to the past while adding a touch of sophistication to our homes. 🍂🏠
