In this remodeling project, we demolished the mudroom at the back of the kitchen, removed walls, reduced the bulkhead, and seamlessly joined the ceiling between the old and new sections of the space.

What once seemed impossible or improbable became reality through dedication, precision, and the care our crew put into every step of the project.

The next-level basement bathroom.

What’s typically seen as a limitation—low light, ceiling drops, bulkheads—became the advantages of the design.

We leaned into it!

• Continuous tile from floor → wall → shower
• Heated floors for everyday comfort
• Window within the shower to bring in natural light
• Integrated shower shelf in place of a niche
• Floating vanity with an offset sink for a custom feel and placing scones under asymmetrical bulkhead
• Frameless glass enclosure to keep the space open

This post is dedicated to vanities with offset sink.

Vanities with offset sinks — a small detail that already makes a big difference.

The reasons we love them — and you could too:

✔ Plumbing stays to one side, not the center
✔ Full-depth drawers or shelving on the other side
✔ No wasted middle cabinet space

On this project, we did not have have specific notion for right alignment of the sink, but glad it is on the right - we could plan with morrow and scones given the bulkhead over the left side.

Curious what your thoughts are about this topic?

There are no better words to explain how a person, an athlete or a business — reaches success.

It’s years of practice.
Years of reflecting on what worked… and what didn’t.
Humility.
Flexibility.
Honouring commitments.

Failures. Mistakes. Missed opportunities.
Learning from all of it.

And then waking up the next morning
and choosing to do better — again.

Flush receptacles are visually beautiful.

They are a standard feature in European renovations, where wall finishes are treated as architectural surfaces—not backgrounds for hardware.

When working with ½” (12 mm) porcelain slabs, ex*****on is super technical.

The stone fabricator’s check list:
• exact cut-outs
• clean, chip-free edges
• millimetre-accurate alignment with the electrical rough-in

There is no tolerance for adjustment once slabs are installed.

A kitchen should feel designed for your home — not like it came out of a box.
With thoughtful planning and careful installation, an IKEA kitchen can look completely custom.

✔️Tight reveals
✔️ Flush ends
✔️ Ceiling-height details

You’ll just feel that everything belongs.

We don’t update houses.
We rewrite them.
Before and after — without nostalgia.

The look is the moment we’re deciding to level the floor—when the variation hits 1½”.

Depending on flooring material the decision is different. The tiled floor will highlight out-of-level condition alone the shower curb - and we can’t allow that.

As contractor we are obsessed with good rough-ins.

Once walls are closed, mistakes become expensive, disruptive, and sometimes impossible to fix without demolition.

• Tile can’t fix bad slopes
• Fixtures can’t perform if their rough-in is wrong.

We are obsessed with what you’ll never see — so you as client never have problems.

This job is so clean and precise, it deserves photo shots!
