Out with the old, in with a faithful recreation!

Our crew has been working on a new set of log stairs and railings to replace an existing set, carefully recreating the original design.

From the log posts and stair treads to the natural curves in the handrails, we’re keeping the character of the original while giving these stairs a fresh start.

We’re looking forward to seeing them in place!

It’s that time of year again! Cooler mornings and chilly evenings mean it’s time to start thinking about firewood. 🔥

Our bundles of peeled log slabs are a great way to help keep you warm this season. No bark, clean burning dry material.
Send us a message or give us a call for pricing and delivery options. Let’s get that woodpile stocked before the snow flies!

An old cabin has a character all its own, and we wanted to keep that feeling as we added a little more room.

For this addition, our Sitka Log Homes crew worked to match the rustic look of the original logs and the simple details that give this very old cabin its charm. Along with that traditional appearance, we used modern building methods to bring strength, stability, and lasting durability to the new space.

Projects like this are a pleasure to work on—helping an old cabin begin its next chapter while keeping the character that makes it special. Thanks to Dimps at Watch Lake Lodge for giving us the opportunity to work on this project.

There's something special about seeing a project come together—from carefully selected hand peeled logs to precision joinery and expert craftsmanship.

Our team has been hard at work on this beautiful custom post and beam, featuring handcrafted log posts, heavy timber rafters, and a design that's built to stand the test of time. Every piece is carefully crafted and assembled with the quality and attention to detail that defines every Sitka Log Homes project.

From concept… to craftsmanship… to the final set. 🌲⚽

Proud to share the Soccer Park entry gate — handcrafted and installed with care, creating a lasting welcome for the community for years to come.

You may have seen our previous post showing the work behind the sign — and now here it is all together and standing proud.

A special thank you to Werner Hein for all of the hard work, coordination, and effort that helped bring this project together from start to finish.

Bringing new life back to a local landmark.
Our craftsman Jay is currently refinishing the sign for our local soccer fields — restoring the wood, renewing the details, and helping create something the community can continue to enjoy for years to come.
