✨ Among the Pines ✨
For Ali, Whispering Pines Landscaping has always been more than a workplace, it’s part of her family story🌲
Her dad started Whispering Pines in 1993, years before Ali was born, so she quite literally grew up alongside WPL. Eventually, Ali became part of the team herself, spending time working on our Gardening Crew. One of her favourite memories from those early years is the time she spent working alongside Christine, WPL’s original gardener 🌸
Ali’s talents extend beyond the garden, too! She is also a talented piano player who also shares her love of music by being a Piano Teacher, a role that, much like gardening, requires patience, creativity, and an appreciation for the little details 🎹
Today, Ali’s WPL journey has come full circle as our Gardening Manager, leading the division she was once a crew member of
When asked what she loves most about her role, Ali shared:
"Being incredibly impressed by what our team can do to transform a garden, and also keep it maintained year over year!"
That appreciation for her team goes hand-in-hand with the advice she would give someone new to WPL:
"Get excited to serve our clients well and notice the details that they would appreciate."
Outside of WPL, Ali is a busy mom to two young children, balancing family life, teaching music and the responsibilities of leading our Gardening team đź’š
From growing up around Whispering Pines, to working alongside some of its earliest team members, to now leading the Gardening division herself, Ali’s journey with WPL is a pretty special one.
We’re proud to have her carrying that history forward while putting her own mark on the gardens, the team, and the future of Whispering Pines 🌲🌸
