Had the pleasure of transforming this fireplace into a beautiful master piece. We removed the existing stone hearth and wood mantel, then installed a new natural stone hearth and stone mantel. The entire fireplace was prepared with metal lathe and a scratch coat to ensure a strong, long lasting installation. We then finished the project with premium natural stone panels. This project completely updating the look and feel of the space.

Had the pleasure of being referred by the Trent Hills Heritage Board to repair this absolutely beautiful stone house in Campbellford. This was just one of many areas around the home that required some much needed tuckpointing. We carefully tuckpointed multiple sections of the house using traditional lime mortar to help preserve the character and integrity of the stonework.

We always enjoy the small job days where we can pile a few repairs together and keep the crew moving.

1st job — removed 2 brick sills and replaced them with new 4” thick natural stone sills.

2nd job — removed spalling brick where a garden bed had caused damage and replaced it with new matching brick.

3rd job — repaired a vehicle-damaged stone corner by relaying the stone and tuckpointing all cracked mortar joints.

4th job — removed a row of spalling brick beside a garage door, installed solid cement block (no cells), wrapped it in fibre mesh, and parged over the mesh for a solid finish.

Had the pleasure of completing this foundation repair for a repeat customer in Warkworth. We removed all loose parge and paint, installed metal lath over the entire foundation, and applied two fresh coats of parge for a clean, durable finish.

Honoured to be approved at another municipality for masonry repairs. This stone column, located at the port in Bowmanville within the Municipality of Clarington, was severely damaged after being struck by a snow plow.

We carefully dismantled the column and rebuilt it properly from the ground up. During demolition, we discovered the original column had no brick ties installed throughout the entire structure, which contributed to the failure.

Finishing the week off before a long weekend at the Codrington Community Centre.

We are incredibly grateful, excited, and proud to announce that we have been approved to provide masonry work for the Municipality of Brighton. We had the pleasure of working at the Codrington Community Centre, where several stone sills had become loose, and two were allowing water pe*******on that caused leaks inside the building.

Our team removed all loose stone sills and brick, installed waterproof brick starter membrane beneath the sills, and carefully relayed all loose brick and stone to ensure a long-lasting repair.

Video in comments that shows a better understanding of why we had to repair the window sills.

Had the pleasure of bricking in this old doorway, which is being converted into a window. Another company will now be coming in to stain the new brick, along with the existing brick that wasn’t previously accessible, to match the rest of the home.

Had the pleasure of teaming up with Birks Landscaping on this repair project. The existing concrete sill and surrounding brick had completely deteriorated. Birks removed the natural stone steps to give us proper access to the wall repairs.

We removed the failed concrete sill and all spalling brick, installed new 5/8” plywood, applied waterproof brick starter, and rebuilt the area with new brick and a new 4” full-length natural stone sill.
