I have been involved with lumber and/or building for the majority of my life. I completed 2-1/2 years of Architectural Technology, and during that time I specialized in residential construction, and residential building codes. This is a part time venture for me, that way I am able to provide my customers with the lowest possible labor rates. I specialize in decks, however I will also build fences,

The newest project for SDM Contracting and Design, an L shaped deck, 23'x11', with a 12'x12' on the side. Built in benches, half with backs, and lit as well. The whole deck s skinned in Trex using 2 colours, so one can act as an accent colour. Thank you Ted Sikorski for the opportunity to build this awesome deck for you, it was a blast, a great time was had by all. Total working time, approx.80 hours.

Some more progress on our latest project. Mostly skinned with composite decking, including the benches, still have to skin the remainder of the deck to the right of this deck, as well as put the fascia on, install the lighting, and finish running the electrical lines.

Work in progress. A 22'x23' "L" Shaped deck with 2 - 12' benches, all clad in Trex decking, also adding a couple of electrical outlets to the outside of the deck, some LED Lighting, and a 12" fascia all around the outside. Stay tuned for more pics as I complete more work.
