There is a workable solution to any challange. This backyard was waterlogged, not really enjoyable. Customer wanted to see more defined lines and banch integrated in a 6x6 planter wall. The regrading and drainage work ensure drier backyard. The turf, patio combination is what the customer envisioned.

A 2.5 day interlock starter to get the routines started again for hardscaping. We removed a concrete walkway along the garage and demolished the rotting deck. Extended the patio and all was built on gator base. it felt like summer but we know, the cold is not over yet.

Pre spring woodworking job for a past client. We had redesigned the backyard 5 years ago, removing a monstrous deck that had occupied the whole backyard and replaced with a raised interlock patio. This time around the goal was to maximize the use of this small backyard.

This was the first pre spring job. A second story redecking. We removed the old decking, handrails and privacy screens. We reinforced the deck frame and used western red cedar to refinish the deck.

It wasnt quiet around Heartscapes. We were busy building this early spring. we extended this old deck, installed a bigger easier to use steps and handrails using western red cedar. Ready for early spring enjoyment.

Winter time is no time for sitting around, although the rest from a busy season is appreciated. Decided to finally build my second story deck. When else can I do this other than in winter. Was about time as the permit was issued March 2022. I didnt spare anything. From composite deckboards to 12” joist spacing to privacy screens and tinted glass railings. Of course Heartscapes can build this for you too. from decks to fences, interlock patios, walkways and driveways, to front porch overlays, steps and railings, planting or consultations only, we do it all, because our heart is in it.
