Yesterday we planted this beautiful Yellow Birch for a client!

The tree was planted to replace an Ash tree that was infected with the Emerald Ash Borer.

Cherry Tree Removal

This week, we removed this cherry tree after it was diagnosed with Cherry Leaf Spot and a Bacterial Canker. To help reduce the spread of disease, we also ground out the stump and removed all infected leaves from the property, leaving the yard clean and ready for its next chapter.

If you’re concerned about the health of your trees, we’re here to help. We provide free estimates and tree health consultations throughout Ottawa and the surrounding area.

Today we safely removed another storm-damaged sugar maple from a client's backyard in Ottawa.
The tree suffered a complete stem failure during last month's severe weather, crushing the rear fence when it fell. The main lead landed on adjacent City property and was removed by the City of Ottawa, leaving the remaining hazardous portion for our crew to dismantle.
We carefully removed the rest of the tree without causing any additional damage to the property, restoring a safe backyard for the homeowner. Although it was difficult to say goodbye to a tree that had been part of the family's home since childhood, they were relieved to have the hazard safely eliminated.

Yesterday we removed this large Manitoba Maple that had developed a significant lean over our client’s garage.

Because the tree was protected, the removal required a permit—which we obtained through the City of Ottawa before beginning the work. The job went smoothly, and the tree was dismantled safely with zero damage to the surrounding property.

Our client was thrilled to finally have safe access to maintain the garages roof, and the neighbour was equally happy to have their solar panels cleared of shade so they can capture more sunlight.

This Week's Highlight Job!

This week, we had the unique opportunity to remove a Kentucky Yellowwood from a client's backyard that was growing over power lines. It's the first one we've ever had the chance to work on here in Ontario!

The best part? The client asked us to leave the stump about 3 feet high so they can mount a beautiful live-edge slab on top and turn it into a one-of-a-kind backyard b**r table. We love projects that give a tree a second life!
