This fence in Glabar Park was finished with Benjamin Moore Woodluxe Solid Stain ā€” a water-based solid stain that gives the wood a rich, even colour without turning it into paint.

Deck + pergola restaining in beautiful Rockcliffe Park šŸŒ²šŸ”„

This one was a full reset.

Our clients had an old stain system that just wasnā€™t holding up anymore ā€” constant peeling, uneven wear, and over time it started turning dark and almost black in spots. The wood had completely lost that clean, rich finish it deserved.

So we brought it all the way back.

We sanded the deck and pergola down properly, removed the failing coating, prepped the wood the right way, and finished it with two coats of WoodSourceā€™s Cutek stain ā€” easily one of the best stains in the game.

The difference is unreal.

At the end of the carousel, youā€™ll see the before photos, plus a side-by-side showing the raw sanded wood beside the finished two-coat stain system. Thatā€™s where you really see the work behind the result.

A proper exterior stain job isnā€™t just about colour ā€” itā€™s about prep, product, and protecting the wood so it actually lasts.
